First Oil Ceremony Organized by Lam Son JOC

On the evening of 18^th July 2014 at Sheraton Saigon Hotel, Lam Son Joint Operation Company (Lam Son JOC) celebrated the ceremony for receiving the first oil flows from Thang Long and Dong Do Oil Fields and welcoming the Third-Class Labor Medal from the Vietnamese State. The participation of 350 guests included leaders and experts from Ministry of Industry and Trade, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN), PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation (PVEP), Petronas Carigali Vietnam Limited (PCVL), and representatives from partners and presses. Vietnam Event Company – YesEvents, was joined to provide the event service this important ceremony. 

The theme "Lam Son Spirit - Everlasting Shining” (Lam Sơn Hùng Khí – Tỏa Sáng Trường Tồn) voiced the important meaning and pride of 3,830 working days and waiting days since signing date (January 7th, 2003) of the petroleum contract on 01/97 and 02/97 lots exploitation, June 6, 2014, Lam Son JOC received the first oil flow from Thang Long Oil Field and a month after - the first oil flow from the Dong Do Oil Field. These were the happiest days for the people who were and are working in Lam Son JOC. 

Vietnam Event Company - YesEvents proposed concept of decoration and performance items suitable to the theme to bring the great achievements of international labors, the dedication and contribution of Lam Son JOC with over 11 million hours of safe working for this project. 

YesEvents received the compliment from General Director of Lam Son JOC and the event organizing board for its smooth co-ordination, dedication, thoughtfulness, creativity…which contributed the success for the ceremony.
